DR MUHAMMAD LAWAN fimc (Chairman DRO): Dr Muhammad holds Masters and PHD in Public Health Management which he obtained in 2016. He started his career as a certified Community Health Extension Worker in 1984 and rose through the ranks in the State Ministry of Health and retired in 2018. He has attended many courses in health and Leadership both in and outside Nigeria. He has many diplomas and certificates which include among others PGD in Epidemiology and Control of Communicable Diseases, Advanced Diploma in Health Education and Health Promotion, Diploma in Tropical Health and Disease Control, etc. He has worked with international development partners such as Unicef, EU-Prime, Medicens san frontiers etc in control and prevention of malaria and other communicable diseases. Dr Muhammad is an Islamic Schoolar. He was at one time the Chief Imam of Gwallaga central Mosque (1987-1988) and ATBU central Mosque 1997. He is currently the Chief Imam of Masjidur rahma and Masjidil Hikma Central Mosques. He was the Chairman of Islamic Medical Association 2007-2015 and Ameer of Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, Gombe branch 1997-2005. He is the Northeast Zonal Coordinator of Da’awah Coordination Council of Nigeria. He was a member of Gombe State Hajj team 2015-2017. He has been the Chairman of Da’awah & relief Organization since 2000
